"As a Director of the Riverside Chapter of the BNI networking organisation I am happy to endorse Park Plaza Tyrrelstown Hotel. Our group holds a weekly meeting in a private room at this venue and the quality of service on offer has always been exceptional.
Staff are friendly, courteous and always happy to accommodate any need, whether this is concerning additional seating, presentation equipment or just supplying a good cup of coffee!
The location of Park Plaza Tyrrelstown has also been a huge advantage to us. Its proximity to the M50 and the nearby Blanchardstown Corporate Parks have allowed us to access a large and varied number of businesses in the West Dublin area.
We have also found Park Plaza Tyrrelstown to be very competitive in its pricing structure which was an important consideration. I would wholeheartedly recommend the hotel as a business venue and meeting place."

"A group of friends and I went to a new evening being promoted at the Park Plaza Tyrrelstown where comedian Dave Young was playing.
For €50 per person I was unsure of what to expect, however on arrival we were greeted to a lovely 3 course dinner and night of fun and laughter.
Dave Young was superb, as were the Abba Tribute band that followed.
For such great value I was sure we would be paying through the nose for drink – NOT AT ALL! The full evening was a great success from 8pm to 2am – all without breaking the bank – just what Dublin 15 needs!
I’ve already been recommending these new evenings to colleagues and friends – most certainly worth every cent."

Dining Out for dinner at Time Restaurant - by Kim Mullahey, Liffey Champion Newspaper
"TIME Restaurant at the Park Plaza Hotel in Tyrrellstown, County Dublin is a food lover’s paradise with a finger firmly on the pulse of the current economy.
Formerly known as Maya, the a la carte menu itself is well worth a visit in its value-conscious price list.
However, it is in the set menu that Time really shines.
The house specialty is Steak Diane. It’s not always on the menu, so it’s best to book ahead for this restaurant classic.
Prepared under the expert eye of Restaurant Manager cum Maitre d’ Hotel Richard Nolan, this Time version is true to its Greek flambé origins.
Tender cuts of Sirloin are pan seared to the desired rare before finishing off with a flaming dollop of cognac, the brandy searing the steak’s exterior while enclosing tender juices within.
The brandy also finishes off the cream-based sauce, changing it into that rich and distinctive flavour that is so characteristic, no matter what variation is used on the recipe.
As with most of Time’s main courses, a lightly blanched medley of carrots and broccoli and sweet new potatoes accompanies this special set menu main course that opened with a choice of starters.
A list including soup of the day, salads and cheese dishes gets the stomach juices going.
An equally impressive list of desserts teams up with a half bottle of House wine, all three courses including the wine at €28.
The current House red is dry to the point of crisp, the fruity undertones going a long way to improve the palate.
However, it doesn’t hold a patch on the current €25 special, the fruity, medium-bodied Fleurie Beaujolais.
This smooth French wine runs generally around €40 so it is really quite a bargain.
Perhaps best of all about Time and the Park Plaza Hotel is the gratis courtesy bus providing door-to-door service, making it easier and safer to enjoy fine food and drink.
Back to the starter, and the potato and chilli soup is of pure puree, the edition of carrots a pleasant sweetener to both the starchy potatoes and the heat of red chilli.
A dessert of apple and ginger crumble sown with oats in the crumb topping and a healthy scoop of rum raisin ice cream is a decadent end to a superbly gastronomic set menu experience.
However, the Time a la carte menu shines in its own right with sea bass, duck and ham hock starters and impressive main courses that are as value-priced as they are delicious.
The €15.95 slow roasted lamb shank really is tender and meaty lamb.
The grilled eight-ounce rib eye steak comes with hand cut chips that although are a little on the skimpy side, the €24 price tag for this tender cut of rare steak is worth it.
A €7.95 starter of smoked salmon and crab Tian actually appeals to someone who has always believed that the only fish worth eating is in the shape of a stick.
Shaped in a Tian dish, a filling of white crab is encased in sweet and fresh salmon to give this starter its classic shape, that of the French ramekin-like dish in which it was prepared.
The sauce is sweet with just a slight tang of mustard blended in well in a creamy base.
A starter preference of mildly sharp, fresh rocket leaves and fine diced smoked bacon from the set menu is willingly substituted in the a la carte menu.
The Park Plaza Hotel serves a buffet breakfast, lunch and a full bar menu.
The best by far, however, is that courtesy bus which can be booked even when not staying the night.
